American Beauty Supply (Australia) is supplier of beauty, nail products, furniture and equipment for beauty shops, based in Sydney. Currently they have a vacancy for ICT Business Analyst for full-time to join their team. Applicant should have the experience and skills to work independently.

Main Tasks:
• Analyse work products in accordance to design standards and direct performing software development tasks on a technical basis.
• Identifying, investigating, and analysing business processes, procedures and work practices.
• Conduct program design, testing, coding and debugging.
• Working or collaborating with management and users to determine the needs of the system.
• Developing specifications diagrams and flowcharts for programmers to follow.
• Observing initiation of the system to validate performance and oversee implementations.
• Provide technical support for activities all through Systems Development Lifecycle (SDLC) phases and identify best practices.
• Employing project management methodology and techniques in project plans.
• Conducting system management and acting as a central reference point for information and decision concerning a system project.
• Keep accurate records and documentation of useful information for reference purposes.
• Generating and implementing cost-effective solutions to meet the business needs of the organization.
• Provide guidance and suggest solutions for systems complex problems giving user support.
• Performing System test plans to ensure the quality and integrity of the system.
• Creating user and training documentation.
• Maintain the customer feedback.
• Identifying and evaluating inefficiencies and recommending optimal business practices, and system functionality and behaviour.
• Taking responsibility for deploying functional solutions, such as creating, adopting and implementing system test plans, which ensure acceptable quality and integrity of the system.


Other Skills:
• The role requires a considerable degree of independence and leadership. Work closely with stakeholders to gain a deep understanding of business processes, technical infrastructure, strategic roadmap, and the context in which the organisation operates.
• The role will have significant interaction with both internal and external stakeholders. They will act as a conduit between business units, internal IT teams, and relevant stakeholders.
• Strong communication and relationship skills.
• Ability to identify needs, define requirements, and drive solutions.
• Experience in process optimization and development.
• Ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Preferred knowledge in Data Governance, Business Enablement, and Agile methodologies.
• Experience in documenting complex processes, process mapping and presenting them in a clear and understandable format.
• Demonstrated ability to understand, evaluate and recommend changes to business processes.
• Look out for new ways to improve and deliver value to business clientele.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills resulting in high-quality documentation.

Qualifications:
• Degree or higher in ICT, computer science or related qualification. 
• 2- 4 years of professional experience in a similar field.
• Proficiency in Data and Analytics concepts and technologies.
• Experience in Oracle and SQL querying, reporting, and data visualization.
• Knowledge of enterprise systems like JDE ERP and Salesforce CRM.
• Experience with ecommerce solutions (Shopify) and methodologies.
• Experience with UX/UI is a plus.
• Knowledge of nail and beauty salon industry is an advantage.
